Who We Are
Beaty Eyes is a caring team of professionals dedicated to providing the highest quality of personalized vision and eye health care for people of all ages. We have been serving the North Mississippi and Alabama areas for over 20 years. Many of our patients return to us for their eye care needs yearly even after moving far away. We are located conveniently in the Barnes Crossing area just off of North Gloster Street in Tupelo, Mississippi.

We strive to improve your quality of life and vision wellness through superior customer service, state-of-the-art technology, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Whether it be for comprehensive eye health and vision examinations, urgent red eye care, evaluations before and after eye surgery, dry eye management, medical glaucoma treatment or contact lenses of every kind, we are here to fill your needs with optimal service and products.
Our superior instrumentation allows us to prevent unnecessary referrals to specialists, which saves your time and expense. We perform professional eye exams for contact lenses and eye glasses. Our services also include medical eye exams for diabetes, glaucoma and many other conditions that affect the eyes. You are able to buy contact lenses directly from us, and most of our soft contact lens orders arrive in two business days. Eyemart Express provides our patients with glasses and in most cases glasses are ready in about an hour.
Whether it be retinal imaging for macular degeneration, or visual fields for glaucoma, we have the instruments in our facility to be able to perform these services conveniently for our patients. We understand what you are looking for in an optometrist.

Our Doctors
Dr. Steve Beaty
Optometrist
Dr. Steve Beaty first became interested in eye care when he visited his local optometrist during the second grade. He had been struggling in school, and it was discovered that he was not able to see the board from his seat at the back of the class. That visit to his local eye doctor changed the trajectory of his life!
Dr. Steve Beaty hails from Birmingham, Alabama and has degrees from Auburn University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from UAB in 1996. He went on to complete a residency in Family Practice Optometry at the University Eye Institute in Houston, TX where he also served as chief resident.
His practice interests are family eye care, children’s eyes, and dry eye treatment. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, lifting, investing, and watching his children play sports.
Dr. Samantha Beaty
Optometrist
Dr. Samantha Beaty is a native of North Mississippi and graduated from UAB School of Optometry after attending Itawamba Community College and Mississippi State University. She was selected as the sole Mississippi resident accepted at UAB School of Optometry that year.
She completed a Cornea and Contact Lens residency in Houston, TX and then moved back to North Mississippi to practice. Her practice interests include specialty contact lenses, myopia control, and pediatric eye care. Outside the practice she enjoys spending time outdoors with her children, hiking, biking, skiing and traveling.
